BKIPM Collaborates with FPIK UNDIP in the Development of Science in the Field of Fish Quarantine, Quality and Safety of Fishery Products

FPIK. Monday, March 20, 2023 the UNDIP FPIK Cooperation Agreement was implemented with the Fish Quarantine Agency, Quality Control and Fishery Product Safety (BKIPM). The signing of the collaboration was carried out by Prof. Tri and Mr. Sokhib as Head of BKIPM Semarang and attended by all BKIPM staff. The aim of this collaboration is the Development of Science in the Field of Fish Quarantine, Quality and Safety of Fishery Products.

The scope of the cooperation includes:

  • Increasing the capacity of marine and fisheries human resources in supporting independent learning – independent campus
  • Development of research in the field of fish diseases, quality and safety of fishery products
  • Exchange of data and information    Dissemination and awareness (public awareness) together in the field of fish quarantine, quality and safety of fishery products.

Public Lecture “The Role of BKIPM in the Implementation of Fish Health Management Systems, and the Quality and Safety of Fishery Products for the Welfare of the Indonesian People”

Semarang. In the context of BKIPM Goes to Campus, Undip FPIK held a Public Lecture with the theme “The Role of BKIPM in the Implementation of Fish Health Management Systems, and the Quality and Safety of Fishery Products for the Welfare of the Indonesian People” with Dr. Ir. Pamuji Lestari, M.Sc as the Head of BKIPM – KKP at the Undip FPIK Auditorium on March 20 2023. This public lecture was held offline and also online via Zoom and Youtube live broadcasts. Through this public lecture, students are expected to be able to gain knowledge about Fish Health Management, as well as Quality and Safety of Fishery Products directly from BKIPM experts/practitioners.

FPIK. Tuesday, 14 February 2023 FPIK received another visit from SMAN 1, Setu Regency, Bekasi, West Java. The teaching staff under the leadership of Kusnedi, S.Pd. Mpd. as Deputy Head of Public Relations of SMAN 1 Kabupaten Setu Bekasi, assisted the students to gather information about FPIK Undip and foster motivation and interest in students to continue on to tertiary level. Vitos opportunity was used by Prof. Tri and his staff to promote FPIK to the community with the hope of increasing high school students’ interest in majoring at FPIK at the opening of new student registration in the upcoming Odd Semester 2023/2024.

FPIK. Monday, 13 February 2023 FPIK received another visit from SMAN 13, Tangerang Regency, West Java. Twelve teaching staff headed by Haji M. Fahruroji, S.Pd.I, M.Pd accompanied the students to gather information about FPIK Undip and foster motivation and interest in students to continue on to higher education. The vitos opportunity was used by Wadek I and his staff to promote FPIK to the community in the hope of increasing high school students’ interest in majoring in FPIK at the opening of new student registration in the upcoming Odd Semester 2023/2024.

FPIK JAYA! FPIK Students Get “Silver Medal in Thailand Inventors Day”

Semarang. Students from the Department of Capture Fisheries, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University have again made international achievements. On 2-6 February 2023, the Capture Fisheries Department Student Team under the guidance of Kukuh Eko Prihantoko, S.Pi., M.Si, took part in the International Thailand Inventors Day event with their scientific work entitled “Fish-Caller, Based on the Internet of Things to Increase Fisheries Productivity in Artisanal Fishers” was awarded the Silver Medal. This success cannot be separated from the collaborative work within the Capture Project research and innovation community at the Capture Fisheries Workshop, Capture Fisheries Department, FPIK, UNDIP. Congratulations to the entire Capture Project Team for achieving the Silver Medal in Thailand:
