Bravo! Rezza Octavia (FPIK Student) Again Achieves International Achievements in the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games

FPIK Undip students made another achievement. Rezza Octavia, a 2018 student from the Marine Sciences Study Program, FPIK Undip, won the International 5th Islamic Solidarity Games Archery, Ministery of Youth and Sports in Turkey. This FPIK student was able to compete with athletes from other countries to get 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal in Archery.  Not only the International 5th Islamic Solidarity Games Archery,

Rezza actively participates in several other archery competitions such as the Antalya 2022 Hyundai Archery World Cup, Archery World Cup Paris Stage 2, SEA Games 2021 Archery in Vietnam, won 2 gold medals, and the ASEAN University Games 1 gold medal and 1 bronze medal. Rezza’s achievements are inseparable from his hard work and support from the people around him.

Tuesday, August 23, 2022 The Dean of the Faculty of FPIK Undip, Prof. Tri and Deputy Dean of Academic Affairs FPIK Undip Dr. Agus Trianto was a guest speaker at the public dialogue “The Challenges of Being a Tropical Marine and Fisheries Scientist” live on TVRI Central Java. Indonesia has a very large potential of marine resources, therefore it is very unfortunate if the next generation of the nation cannot manage it.

FPIK Undip has 6 undergraduate study programs namely Aquaculture, Marine Science, Oceanography, Aquatic Resources Management (MSDP), Capture Fisheries and Fishery Products Technology. 2 master study programs, namely Masters in Marine Sciences, Masters in MSDP and 2 doctoral programs, namely Doctoral Degrees in Marine Sciences, Doctoral Programs in MSDP. Each study program has many scientific and technological breakthroughs that are needed in managing Indonesia’s marine resources, said Prof. Tri.

Shrimp Cultivation, Design of environmentally friendly fishing gear, Biotechnology of marine products, Conservation and recreation “mangrove tracking”, Marine Science Techno Park is a flagship program of technological breakthroughs from FPIK Undip.

Dr. Agus Trianto added that FPIK Undip also cooperates with other parties, namely DELOS MARITIME and PT. Irodori Global Indonesia in the FPIK Undip student internship program both in Indonesia and to Japan. FPIK also provides knowledge from the academic side (hard skills) and non-academic (soft skills) as part of scientific competence in the Certificate of Companion Diploma (SKPI) or Diploma Supplement.

On August 5, 2022, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences held a Capacity Building Activity at the Jambu Luwuk Hotel, Malioboro, Jogjakarta. This activity aims to increase the capacity and quality of human resources, especially Education Personnel in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. The activity started with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences as well as a resource person in Capacity Building activities. He delivered a lot of useful material related to improving the competence of human resources within the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. After the presentation of the material, it was continued by interesting games and quizzes with the theme of cooperation among the Educational Staff of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. The Capacity Building activity was running successfully as seen from the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the Games and Quiz organized by the Activity Committee.

Semarang – Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University and Delos Maritime Institute have signed the Tridharma Training and Development Cooperation for Higher Education on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University. The scope of the Cooperation Agreement includes collaboration and cooperation in education activities, research, service, community service, student internship programs and competency development in the field of fisheries and marine science and technology. The internship program is intended for students of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. If the participant has completed 1 batch and is declared to have passed the Delos Maritime Institute program and is in accordance with the selection requirements criteria based on recruitment carried out by the company, then the participant will be prioritized to be accepted to work at PT. Delos Maritime Institute Jaya corresponds to the required position and requirements made by the company. This Cooperation Agreement is valid for a period of 5 (five) years and may be extended or terminated based on the agreement of the Parties.
