FPIK Undip Expands Global Network through Postgraduate Double Degree Program with Chiba University Japan

Semarang – The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University (FPIK Undip), continues to strengthen its commitment to internationalization by launching a postgraduate double degree program in collaboration with Chiba University, Japan. This program reflects FPIK Undip’s dedication to providing globally competitive education and enhancing the international competitiveness of its graduates.

Through this collaboration, postgraduate students will have the opportunity to study at both institutions and earn degrees from Diponegoro University and Chiba University simultaneously. The program is expected to broaden students’ academic experience, expand international research networks, and improve cross-cultural competencies.

The Dean of FPIK Undip stated that this collaboration is a strategic step toward strengthening the quality of education and research in the fields of fisheries and marine sciences. In addition to increasing student academic mobility, the double degree program also opens opportunities for collaborative research between lecturers and researchers from both universities.

Through this program, students will gain international academic exposure, access to advanced research facilities, and opportunities to contribute to the development of marine science and technology relevant to current global challenges.
