Bandung – The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences Universitas Diponegoro once again demonstrated its commitment to improving the quality of human resources through the Capacity Building program of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) Undip, held on May 29–31, 2026, in Bandung, West Java. The program was attended by the Dean of FPIK Undip, the Administrative Manager, Human Resources Supervisor, Academic Supervisor, and all educational staff members of FPIK Undip.
This capacity building program served as an important momentum to strengthen togetherness, enhance coordination, and build synergy among educational staff in supporting professional academic and administrative services within FPIK Undip. Through various activities and agendas that had been arranged, participants were encouraged to strengthen communication, teamwork, and collaborative spirit in supporting FPIK Undip’s vision of becoming an excellent faculty with an international reputation.
In his remarks, the Dean of FPIK Undip stated that educational staff play a strategic role in supporting the successful implementation of the university’s tridharma missions of higher education. Therefore, strengthening human resource capacity is one of the important steps in creating an adaptive, harmonious, and productive work environment.
“Through this program, it is hoped that all educational staff members of FPIK Undip will become more united, foster a stronger sense of togetherness, and continue to provide the best services for the academic community,” he stated.


During the program, participants took part in various team-building sessions, discussions, and togetherness activities designed to improve solidarity and foster a positive work culture. In addition, participants also visited the natural tourism destination Kawah Rengganis as a refreshing activity while strengthening the sense of kinship among staff members. Participants also had the opportunity to visit Cibaduyut, which is widely known as a center for leather crafts and products in Bandung.
The series of activities became even more lively with games and togetherness activities held at Braga by ARTOTEL. A spirit of enthusiasm and excitement was evident throughout the event, especially with the presence of various attractive prizes that added to the fun and strengthened the bond among all participants.
Through the implementation of this capacity building program, FPIK Undip hopes that all educational staff members will continue to improve their professionalism, integrity, and service quality in supporting effective, innovative, and globally competitive faculty governance.
