Semarang – The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK), Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), has once again achieved a remarkable milestone. A total of 64 proposals submitted by FPIK lecturers have successfully passed the selection process and received funding under the Research and Community Service Program sourced from non-APBN funds for the 2026 fiscal year.
The official announcement was released by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Universitas Diponegoro on April 23, 2026. This funding represents recognition and support for the quality, innovation, and relevance of the proposals submitted by FPIK lecturers, covering various competitive funding schemes.
Based on data from LPPM, the funded proposals span a wide range of strategic research topics, particularly under the Review Article Research (RAR) scheme. These include critical issues such as environmental sustainability, the utilization of marine biological resources, and oceanographic dynamics in Indonesia. The projects are led by highly competent FPIK Undip lecturers.

This achievement reflects FPIK Undip’s strong commitment to fostering a productive and innovative academic culture, while also strengthening the role of higher education institutions in addressing global challenges, particularly in the fields of fisheries and marine sciences.
Furthermore, this accomplishment demonstrates that research collaborations among FPIK Undip’s academic community continue to grow and remain competitive at the national level. It is expected that the outcomes of these research and community service activities will not only contribute to the advancement of knowledge but also provide tangible benefits to society, especially in supporting sustainable development in the marine and fisheries sector.
FPIK Undip will continue to encourage its lecturers to actively participate in various research and community service funding programs, both at national and international levels, as part of its ongoing efforts to realize its vision of becoming a globally competitive and excellent faculty.
