DESKRIPSI
Program Studi S1 Oseanografi merupakan pengembangan kompetensi oseanografi yang telah diakreditasi oleh Badan Akreditasi Nasional (Akreditasi A, No 089/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/III/2015) dan Bersertifikat ISO 9001: 2015 – Sertifikat No. 105039/A/0001/UK/En. Perkembangan bidang oseanografi semakin pesat seiring dengan semakin besarnya kebutuhan lulusan dari berbagai instansi pemerintah, swasta, serta industri kelautan, perikanan, dan eksplorasi energi (pertambangan, energi alternatif kelautan, dan lainnya). Kajian tersebut meliputi proses fisik, kimia, dan biologi di bidang oseanografi, penginderaan jauh, pemetaan laut, dan pemodelan, geologi kelautan, energi terbarukan berbasis kelautan, pengelolaan garis pantai, bahaya pesisir, pengelolaan pesisir dan zona samudera, mitigasi bencana peringatan dini, dan desain struktur pantai tropis; Sehingga setelah mengikuti program mereka mampu memecahkan berbagai permasalahan praktis di wilayah pesisir.

DURASI PROGRAM
Proses belajar mengajar yang dilaksanakan oleh Program Studi Oseanografi berlangsung selama 8 (delapan) semester atau 4 (empat) tahun akademik dengan 145 SKS semester. Setiap semester terdapat 14-16 proses belajar mengajar (pertemuan ke-8 untuk Ujian Tengah Semester dan pertemuan ke-16 untuk Ujian Akhir Semester).
