FPIK. Prof. Tri and Ir. Sutardi, Head of the Department of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and Animal Husbandry of the Wonogiri Regency, signed the MoU on the collaboration “Fisheries Management with a Community-Based and Ecosystem Approach in Wonogiri Regency” in the lti senate meeting room. 3rd ed. A FPIK Undip on 1 February 2023.

The scope of the cooperation includes:

  1. Planning, development and capacity building of marine and fisheries human resources;
  2. Empowerment of marine and fisheries communities;
  3. Conservation and protection of biodiversity in Mainland Public Waters (PUD);
  4. Management of ecosystem services;
  5. Research, development and application of science and technology in the field of fisheries;
  6. Assessment and development of legal, social and economic aspects in the field of fisheries;
  7. Consultation and exchange of information and knowledge in the field of fisheries;
  8. Expert exchange; And
  9. Utilization of facilities and infrastructure.
  10. The Study Programs at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences that are involved in this collaboration are Capture Fisheries, Aquatic Resources Management, Aquaculture and Fishery Product Technology.

Semarang . Thursday, January 18 2023, FPIK signed an MOU extension regarding the double degree doctoral program with LA Rochelle University. The objectives of the collaboration are:

  1. Cooperation in the implementation of double degree master education in Environmental Management and Coastal Ecology
  2. Other collaborations for the future such as training programs, doctoral program supervision, and short-term research with joint laboratories

FPIK Undip- Aquaculture Business Day activity is an exhibition of Aquaculture business products which is expected to be able to foster the entrepreneurial spirit of “Young Entrepreneur” for FPIK students in particular. This activity has been planned from 2 (two) years ago, but due to the covid pandemic, it can only be carried out today, exactly on November 11, 2022, said Tita Elfitasari as the supervisor of the activity.In the opening ceremony by the deputy dean of resources, Prof. Aristi said that the University and FPIK support and support student entrepreneurship activities by preparing a special budget for these activities.

Dozens of creative innovations by the students of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang were exhibited in the auditorium of the Undip FPIK Audit building with their respective brands: Catappa’ku, Nawasena, Happy Feed, Mr. Lele, Mannaf Aquaponik, BrandyScape, Risol Lumerr, Sekongkol, Maowseweeds, UUHP, Teaching Factory, Wareng, E-Scape and Kanoscape.

Jaya!!! FPIK Undip Students Win Gold Medals at Tanoto Student Research Award (TSRA) 2022

Semarang- Pranata Candra Perdana Putra, a student at the Undip FPIKCatch Fishing Department won a Gold Medal at the 2022 Tanoto Student Research Award (TSRA) which was held on November 5, 2022 where ITB was the host. His scientific work entitled “GALAKSI” (Integrated Laksana Ideas) is an Educational Teaching Tool in the Field of Astronomy Science Based on the Internet of Things (IoT). each natural phenomenon. In addition, the galaxy can be controlled using an application to make it easier for teachers to supervise. This tool works with ratio comparisons that are designed in such a way according to the theory.

The Tanoto Foundation in collaboration with five campus partners in Indonesia held the 2022 Tanoto Student Research Award (TSRA) competition in order to develop collaborative innovation work among university students. This competition was attended by 125 student delegates from five Mitra Tanoto Foundation universities, namely Diponegoro University, University of Indonesia, Bandung Institute of Technology, Bogor Agricultural Institute, and Brawijaya University.

Semarang, FPIK Undip collaborate with TU Delf and  WUR to The Mumaco Project. The Mumaco Project is Mussel as Mangrove Facilitator for Coastal Defense was establish from 2021 and program end planned at 2024. Project located at Timbulsloko village Sayung Demak and involved 3 major aspects:

  1. Dam (compound structure) as coastal defense by Alejandra Macheno;
  2. Biodiversity analysis by Lara Jansen; and
  3. Green Mussel culture by Ristiawan.
