Semarang, 2025 – Surya Adi Putra Pratama, an Oceanography student (Class of 2022) and active member of the student scientific community UKM-F REGISTER, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Universitas Diponegoro, proudly represented UNDIP as one of the delegates presenting his scientific research at The 46th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS) 2025. This prestigious international conference was held in Makassar, Indonesia, from October 27–31, 2025.

      

ACRS 2025 was jointly organized by the Indonesian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS/MAPIN) and the Asian Association on Remote Sensing (AARS) under the theme “Harnessing Remote Sensing for Global Sustainability, Resilience, and Technology Innovation.” The conference served as a significant platform for researchers and experts from around the world to share innovations, foster collaboration, and discuss the advancement of remote sensing technology for sustainable global development.

In this conference, Surya presented his research titled “Study of Sediment Land Elevation Dynamics Using Airborne LiDAR in the Ajkwa Estuary, Mimika, Papua, Indonesia.” The study investigates elevation changes in sedimentary land influenced by natural sedimentation processes and human activities, utilizing high-resolution Airborne LiDAR data for analysis.

All accepted papers presented at the conference are published in the ISRS/MAPIN e-Proceedings and submitted for indexing in Scopus and Web of Science, providing international exposure for the participants’ research. Surya’s participation exemplifies the capability of UNDIP students to compete at the global level and highlights REGISTER’s commitment to fostering a culture of research, innovation, and scientific excellence among its members.
