Encouraging International Programs and WCU Initiatives, FPIK Undip Establishes Strategic Collaboration with Bhumi Horta Foundation

Semarang – The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences Universitas Diponegoro (FPIK Undip) has established a strategic partnership with the Bhumi Horta Foundation to support the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education. The meeting was held on April 30, 2026, at the Dean’s Building of FPIK Undip, Tembalang, Semarang.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of FPIK Undip, Agus Trianto, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Diah Permata Wijayanti, M.Sc., and Prof. Dr. Ir. Delianis Pringgenies, M.Sc. Also present were the Founder of Bhumi Horta Foundation, Sany Mardlotillah, along with her team. The presence of institutional leaders and partners reflected a shared commitment to building a strong and sustainable collaboration.

This partnership is specifically focused on implementing internationally oriented Community Service programs and strengthening World Class University (WCU) initiatives. Through this collaboration, FPIK Undip and Bhumi Horta Foundation are committed to developing community engagement activities that are not only local in scope but also carry a global perspective.

During the meeting, various opportunities for program implementation were discussed, including community capacity development, empowerment based on marine and fisheries resources, as well as the exchange of knowledge and best practices at the international level. These initiatives are expected to broaden the scientific impact of FPIK Undip while strengthening its global network.

Dean of FPIK Undip, Agus Trianto, stated that this collaboration represents a strategic step toward improving the quality of the tridharma activities, particularly in globally oriented community service programs. Furthermore, the partnership is expected to provide international exposure and valuable experiences for students through the implementation of innovative programs.

Through this collaboration, FPIK Undip continues to demonstrate its commitment to becoming an excellent and globally competitive higher education institution. The synergy with Bhumi Horta Foundation is expected to serve as a catalyst for creating sustainable community service programs and delivering meaningful contributions to society.
