FPIK Universitas Diponegoro Establishes Strategic Partnership with PT Haida Agriculture Indonesia

Guangzhou, China – The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK), Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), Indonesia, formally entered into a strategic partnership with PT Haida Agriculture Indonesia through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on April 24, 2026, in Guangzhou, China.

The MoA was signed by Prof. Agus Trianto, Dean of FPIK Undip, representing the Faculty, and Mr. Zhang Zheng, General Manager of Shrimp Feed for Eastern Indonesia at PT Haida Agriculture Indonesia, representing the company.

This agreement aims to strengthen institutional collaboration and optimize the utilization of resources from both parties in advancing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education—namely education, research, and community service.

The partnership encompasses a wide range of academic programs at FPIK Undip, including undergraduate programs in Aquaculture, Capture Fisheries, Aquatic Resources Management, Fishery Product Technology, Oceanography, Marine Science, and Fishery and Marine Business Technology, as well as master’s and doctoral programs in Marine Science and Aquatic Resources Management.

The scope of cooperation includes, but is not limited to, collaborative research initiatives, joint academic seminars, visiting lecturer programs, student internship opportunities, practitioner engagement in teaching activities, and human resource development. Additional areas of cooperation may be established upon mutual agreement of both parties.

This MoA is valid for a period of five (5) years from the date of signing and may be extended subject to mutual consent. Its implementation will be further detailed through technical agreements and periodically evaluated to ensure effective collaboration.

Through this strategic partnership, FPIK Undip reaffirms its commitment to strengthening international collaboration with industry partners, particularly in the aquaculture and feed sectors, to enhance the quality and impact of higher education, research, and community engagement on a global scale.
