Semarang – Proud news comes once again from the students of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK), Universitas Diponegoro. Two FPIK students have successfully achieved remarkable accomplishments at the International Paku Bumi Open 14 Championship, held at GOR Lembah UGM, Yogyakarta.

The award-winning students are:

The Paku Bumi Open Championship is one of the most prestigious international pencak silat competitions, bringing together top athletes from various regions and countries. This event serves as a platform for athletes to showcase their skills while fostering unity through Indonesia’s traditional martial art.

The achievements of Edy Mukhlisin and Rahmad Hasyim Al Amri demonstrate that FPIK UNDIP students excel not only academically but also in non-academic fields, particularly in sports.

The Dean of FPIK UNDIP expressed great appreciation and pride for this accomplishment. It is hoped that this success will inspire other students to continue developing their potential, both academically and non-academically, and to compete confidently at national and international levels.

FPIK UNDIP remains committed to supporting students’ talents and interests as part of its mission to produce graduates who are competitive, accomplished, and able to contribute positively to society.

With this achievement, it is expected that Universitas Diponegoro, especially FPIK, will gain greater recognition and continue to achieve excellence across various fields.
