A Proud Achievement! FPIK Undip Highlights Excellent Graduates and Young Talents at the 180th Graduation Ceremony

The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPIK) of Diponegoro University officially conferred degrees upon 184 graduates during Diponegoro University’s 180th Graduation Ceremony, held from 4–7 November 2025 at the Muladi Dome, Tembalang. The five-day ceremony celebrated a total of 3,341 graduates from the Graduate School, Vocational School, Faculty of Public Health, and various other faculties.

On the first day of the ceremony, Tuesday (4/11), FPIK participated in the graduation procession along with several other faculties. Of the 184 FPIK graduates, 4 earned doctoral degrees, 10 completed master’s programs, and 168 graduated with bachelor’s degrees. These figures reaffirm FPIK’s contribution to producing high-quality human resources in the fields of fisheries, marine science, and oceanography.

This year’s ceremony was particularly meaningful for FPIK as one of its outstanding graduates, Arum Citra Kusuma, the top graduate from the Bachelor Program in Fisheries Product Technology, was given the honor of delivering the Alumni Oath before all graduation participants. Her solemn recitation symbolized the graduates’ commitment to upholding integrity, honoring their alma mater, and contributing to society and the nation.

Midway through the ceremony, the atmosphere grew warmer when Ananda Ken Sitorus, an FPIK student, delivered a musical performance of the song “Senyumlah.” His performance added an emotional touch and provided encouragement to the graduates and their families.

FPIK also recorded noteworthy academic achievements this period, with 129 graduates earning cum laude honors. The honorees consisted of 115 bachelor’s graduates, 8 master’s graduates, and 6 doctoral graduates. This accomplishment highlights the faculty’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and its efforts to foster high achievement among students.

Several FPIK graduates also earned recognition as the best graduates of their respective study programs while achieving cum laude distinction. They include: Aditya Putra Basir (Doctoral Program in Aquatic Resources Management), Nuril Azhar (Doctoral Program in Marine Science), Arif Gunarso (Master’s Program in Aquatic Resources Management), Muji Wasis Indriawan (Master’s Program in Marine Science), Iga Mawar Aryaningsih (Bachelor Program in Aquatic Resources Management), Sara Ana Taya (Bachelor Program in Aquaculture), Warda Auliya Damayanti (Bachelor Program in Capture Fisheries), Adzkia Nabillah Putri (Bachelor Program in Marine Science), Wahab Pratama (Bachelor Program in Oceanography), and Arum Citra Kusuma (Bachelor Program in Fisheries Product Technology).
