Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan (FFMS) Universitas Diponegoro, on 25-26 November 2009 and on 30 November to 1 December 2009, has held The Staff Training Development on ISO.

The training which was held at Vina House Semarang was given by the trainers from the Indonesian Standardization Society (MASTAN). The first training on SNI ISO 9001: 2008 was attended by 18 participants consisting of administrative and academic staffs of FFMS / FPIK UNDIP given by Prof. Syamsir Abduh and A. Hamdani. While the second training on SNI ISO / IEC 17025:2008 attended by Vice Dean, Head of Department, Head of Study Program and Head of Laboratories given by Mr. Mangasa and Mr. Suryadi.

Dean of FPIK Prof. Dr. Ir. Johannes Hutabarat, MSc in the opening of both training mentioned that the knowledge about ISO is very important not only for administratives staffs but also for academic staffs and researcher as well. It is hope that the knowledge of ISO can be implemented in their working environment, which is in line with the vision of bioth the university and the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science UNDIP.
